Somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, and relational healing for anxiety, shame, people-pleasing, addiction, and attachment wounds.
Even If It Doesn’t Feel That Way Right Now
If you grew up in a chaotic, neglectful, or emotionally unpredictable home, or if you’ve struggled with anxiety, addiction, or relationships that never quite feel safe, there’s nothing wrong with you. You’re carrying the weight of unprocessed pain. But healing is possible. With the right support, you can feel safe, connected, and at home inside yourself.
I’m Ewan Nicholson, a Brisbane-based therapist offering trauma-informed, somatic therapy. I work with people in person in Brisbane and online across Australia via Zoom.

I specialise in helping adults recover from:
Childhood emotional neglect and abuse
Complex PTSD (CPTSD)
Addiction and dissociation
Developmental trauma and insecure attachment
Family enmeshment and narcissistic caregivers
Identity struggles and emotional numbness
Religious Trauma or Spiritual Abuse
I’m Ewan, a trauma therapist with both lived and clinical experience. My approach is grounded in compassion, presence, and the belief that people can and do change with the right support.
I’m trained in trauma-informed care, somatic modalities (including the Safe and Sound Protocol), and Gestalt Therapy. My own journey of recovery, from childhood trauma and addiction, deeply informs my work. I’m also a parent by adoption, and I understand the long, often non-linear path of healing.
